This Inspiration Salon, curated and moderated by ANSC Program Chair Joerg Geier, brought together an engaged Berlin audience for a thought-provoking conversation on how storytelling and education can be catalysts for societal transformation.
🎬 Filmmaker Johanna Jaurich shared insights from her docudrama (in production) “THE STORY OF A NEW WORLD,” a genre-blending hybrid that spans 8 countries across 3 continents. More than just a film, it creates the basis for a global “action campaign” designed to transform passive viewers into active change makers. Her message was clear:
“People fear the end of capitalism more than the end of the world.”
Though her film aims to change that by encouraging emotional reconnection and solution-oriented storytelling that inspires positive peer pressure. She shows that and we’re capable of creating meaningful change.

🎓 Christian Rebernik, CEO and Founder of Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences, challenged us to rethink education. He emphasized that while much in the world is changing rapidly, education often lags behind. His mission? To build a system that equips learners with purpose, real-world tools, and the community to enact change where it matters — within their circle of control.
🎤 The conversation touched on the power of visualization, the importance of storytelling, and how both film and education can reframe our narratives about the future. In this vein, Joerg Geier concluded:
“We should focus on our social capital — the relationships between people — just as much as on other forms of capital.”

🎶 The evening was rounded out with heartfelt live music by Kaso Nausad Madhosh, whose RnB and hip-hop set perfectly complemented the spirit of the evening.
