2. What data we process

2.1 When visiting our website

Our web server automatically records:

• IP address
• Date and time of access
• Browser type and operating system
• Pages visited

This is technically necessary to provide the website and protect it from attacks.

2.2 Newsletter (Clever Elements)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we save:

• Your email address
• Your name
• Optionally: the organization you work for
• The time of your registration
• Your consent (Double-Opt-In)

The newsletter is sent via Clever Elements, with whom we have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

2.3 Event Registration (Eventbrite)

For some events, we use Eventbrite. Eventbrite collects the data necessary for registration. We only receive the information we need for event organization.

2.4 Embedded Content & Third-Party Services

Our website integrates content and services from the following providers:

• Social Media: LinkedIn (Buttons), Facebook, Instagram (Content, Buttons), WhatsApp (Communication)
• Video: YouTube, Vimeo
• Google Services: Google Forms, Google Maps, Google Fonts, Google reCAPTCHA
• Events: Eventbrite

These services may set cookies and transfer data to third countries (e.g., USA). Data processing may partly take place in third countries. We activate these contents only after your consent via our cookie banner.

2.5 Social Media Pages (Instagram & LinkedIn) – Joint Controller

We operate official profiles on Instagram and LinkedIn. For these pages, there is a joint data protection responsibility between us and the respective platform provider, particularly regarding:

• Insights data (e.g., reach statistics)
• Interaction usage (likes, comments, messages)

The platforms process your data according to their own privacy policies. We use this aggregated information solely to design user-friendly content and inform interested parties about our activities. You can assert your rights (access, deletion, etc.) both with us and directly with the respective platform.

• enable event registrations

We have GDPR-compliant agreements with all processors.

7. Storage duration

• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe
• Event data: according to tax retention obligations (6–10 years, where applicable)
• Server logs: max. 7–30 days
• Cookies: according to individual lifespan / until revocation
