NEW PARTNER HIGHLIGHT: Arts And Science

Arts and Nature Social Club is pleased to highlight a new partner initiative from the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS): the Planetary Arts Movement: X-Art.

Founded in 1960 by leading global thinkers and creatives, WAAS is an international, non-profit network dedicated to addressing humanity’s most urgent social, ecological and cultural challenges. Bringing together artists, scientists, scholars and innovators from around the world, the Academy works across disciplines to advance peace, sustainability, human dignity and planetary well-being.

The Planetary Arts Movement: X-Art is WAAS’s global arts initiative, launched to activate the transformative power of creativity in response to today’s planetary crises. X-Art views art as a vital force for cultural change — one that can connect people across borders, inspire new narratives, and help re-imagine more just and regenerative futures.

Rooted in values of ecology, wisdom, inclusivity and creative collaboration, X-Art invites artists, cultural practitioners and communities worldwide to participate in a growing network of projects, events and partnerships. Through shared artistic expression, the movement seeks to deepen awareness of humanity’s relationship with nature while fostering hope, connection and collective action.
